Delbert Gail, D. G., Jack Breedlove 83 years of age, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed
away on February 20, 2014 at St. Francis Heart Hospital. Jack was born in Deer,
Arkansas, to Bertha Melinda and Grover Cleveland Breedlove. He is survived by
his wife of almost 55 years, June Katherine Kuhnemund Breedlove, their children,
Greg and Julie Breedlove, Wayne and Stacy Shaffer, and Bret Breedlove. Papa or
Grampa Jack was deeply loved by his 9 grandchildren, Ashely Breedlove, Lindsey
Shaffer, Katy Alford, Cody Breedlove, Amy Shaffer, Riley Breedlove, Brady
Breedlove, Katie Romano, and Makena Breedlove.
Jack served in the United States Army from March 16, 1950 until January 13,
1954, later becoming an electroplater and part owner of United Plating Works in
Tulsa. Later, he and June owned and operated several video stores in Tulsa,
Cinema World Video.
Never one to sit still, Jack was always busy with household or yard projects. He
enjoyed golfing, boating, reading, and gardening, always offering tips on how to
grow Bermuda grass and the best homegrown tomatoes.
Jack's kind and gentle soul touched many lives and he will be sorely missed.
Service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 24, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery
