Denise Renee Sullivan-King (Denny) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 19, 2018 after a long illness. Denise was born on Aug. 6, 1954 in Granite City Ill. to Themla Sullivan.

Denise married Joseph King in Vacaville at St. Mary's Church on April 20,1996. She rededicated her life to the Lord at Spirit Life; she first was dedicated at eight years old. Denise had a great sense of humor and she loved her grandchildren, she enjoyed coloring and paint by numbers. She loved going to Badega Bay, she loved walking in the ran and loved listening to Christian music. Denise loved singing and wanted to be just like her Aunt Norma, "Nurse Norma". Denise loved her two furballs Tiny and Doxie.

Denise became an LVN in Tennessee and continued working as an LVN for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother Thelma and Aunt Ruth. Denise is survived by her husband, Joseph King of Tulsa, OK; Children Kelly (Patrick), Amber and Sara (Marcus), 5 grandchildren; Soloman, Leilani, Kaden, and Shyann. Aunt Eileen, Aunt Norma (James), Uncle Wayne and Uncle Jerry and many cousins.


The celebration of her life will be held at the Spirit Life Church on Feb. 24, 2018 at 10am. 5345 S. Peoria Ave. Tulsa Ok. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
