Dennis Marie Brooks (Denny) beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, stepped from this life and into glory on January 31, 2025 at the age of 76. Denny was a devoted daughter, sister, friend, and an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Denny was born on August 17, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to loving parents John and Marie Brooks. She was the oldest child and grew up in a close-knit family of 4 brothers and 1 sister. Denny graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1966.

Denny was a devoted aunt to all her nieces and nephews and took immense pride in their accomplishments and supported them in all their endeavors. As an aunt, Denny found joy in spending time with all her family, attending their school events, and always having a camera ready to document the event!

Denny worked the back gate at the Tulsa Speedway until it closed. She always enjoyed seeing the racers and asking about their families. She was also a member of the Tulsa Speedway Booster Club. Recently she has been attending the monthly luncheon meeting of the Dirt Track Legends community and always had a great time with old friends.

Known for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering faith, Denny was an active member of her church and community where she volunteered and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her gentle spirit and selflessness touched the lives of many.

Denny is preceded in death by her father, John Brooks, mother, Marie Atherton Brooks, her brothers, Mike Brooks (Sammie) and Ray Brooks. She is survived by her best friend, Jay Davis, her brothers, Bob Brooks (Paula), Dwight Boman (Karen) and sister, Jane Piercy (Jon), as well as her sister-in-law Vicki Brooks and many nieces and nephews. Denny will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Even in death, Denny showed how selfless as - she was an organ donor. A celebration of Denny's life will be held on February 7, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Moore Southlawn, 9350 East 51st, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Denny's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
