Obituary

Hempler, SR., Dennis Marvin, 70, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in Tulsa, OK surrounded by his family. Born July 13, 1948 in Aberdeen, SD to Donald M. and Gladys (Karas) Hempler. Dennis served honorably in the US Army, one tour Vietnam and US Navy, Westpac deployment patrolling Vietnam.

He married the love of his life, Leona C. Baumstarck in Rapid City, SD on November 15, 1971. Dennis graduated with a bachelors degree in business administration from Jamestown College in 1985. Dennis enjoyed fishing, cooking, cinema and feeding his family. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald M. Hempler; sister, Donna Darlene Hempler.

Survived by his wife, Leona C. Hempler; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis M. and Christin Hempler, Jr. of Coweta, OK and D. J. and Ronda Hempler of Port Orchard, WA; daughter and son-in-law Donna M. and Michael Posey of Coweta, OK; grandchildren, Sierra Posey, Isabelle Posey, John Posey, Zack Allen, Caitlin Allen, Evan Hempler, and David Hempler; mother, Gladys Hempler of Minot, ND; sister and brother-in-law, Dixie and Rodney Clark sister Debbie Hempler and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 7291 E. 81st, Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local Angel Tree in honor of him. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
