Dennis Clayton Moore, 92, of Tulsa, died July 2, 2017 in Tulsa. He was born June 6, 1925 in Algona, Iowa, to Herbert Paul and Viola Mae Pratt Moore. He worked as a Indy Car Mechanic at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and was a member of the Old Timer's Museum in Indianapolis.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, the late Virginia Frances Hall Moore, in January of 2014. They were married in Oklahoma City on January 11, 1946.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis C. (Sharon) Moore, II of Broken Arrow and Bobby (Nancy) Moore of Tulsa; 4 grandsons, Brian Moore, Randy (Shawn) Moore, Scott Moore and Raymond Moore; 2 granddaughters, Stacey (Jose) Cazares and Cheryl (Dundee) Melton; 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233. Viewing will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M at the funeral home.
