Dennis C Wharton departed this world on October 22nd, 2024 at the age of 87. He joined the love of his life, Billie Ann Wharton and his children Resa Sario, Kelvin Wharton, Kim Parker, and Kurt Wharton.

He leaves behind his daughter, Kevin Ostrander and a legacy of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Denny was born November 6th, 1936 in Dallas, Texas. His childhood years were split between Dallas, New Orleans, and then Tulsa. After graduating from Holy Family High School, the University of Tulsa, and Western State College of Law in California, he quickly became a modern Renaissance man. He served time in the army as a Morse code operator. After that, he had several careers ranging from environmental and business lawyer to bar owner. The last few decades of his career he spent as a bail bondsman. His background of Law and Bail Bonds allowed him to introduce several laws that changed the industry.

He will be dearly missed by his family and the Tulsa community.

The funeral services will be held at Calvary cemetery chapel on October 29th at 1 P.M.
