Diane Bresin



Diane Bresin, age 60, passed away Tuesday, March 19thin Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born to Alexander and Geraldine Bresin two months premature on July 21, 1952 in Kansas City with a 50% chance of survival. Her early birth and the treatment to save her life rendered her blind. She is survived by her father, Alexander of Tulsa, brother, Terry, and niece, Casey of Everett Washington. She is also survived by many friends whom she loved dearly and the love of her life, Edward Bryan of Oklahoma City.

Raised in Tulsa, Diane graduated from the School of the Blind in 1971 and attended Tulsa University. She excelled in communication and dedicated her life as a pioneer and advocate for those with physical impairments and other handicaps.

An artist to the max, Diane made jewelry, hand-crocheted &knitted unique afghan creations, and played original or popular musical renditions on the piano ? all with her own special touch and glow.

Among many service positions, Diane served as the Secretary of the Central Oklahoma Council of the Blind and she has been active with the Belle Isle Lions Club for years, serving as President and in other offices.

Diane?s faith in God provided her great strength and comfort. She also was a positive influence to others to strengthen their faith in developing their personal relationship with Jesus.

Diane vibrated love, compassion, and concern for others. She immersed herself with everyone else?s problems, joys, and challenges. Diane?s cheerful words, her beautiful laugh, and her general joyful demeanor have been a source of strength to many people. She truly will be missed.
