Diane Burd Kepford, 72, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2016. Diane was born in Pershing, Oklahoma to Roscoe Riley and Ruby Ann Burd on April 8, 1943. She grew up with 3 brothers. Kenneth Burd of Plano, Texas, Tim Burd of Pawhuska, Oklahoma and Gary Burd of Owasso, Oklahoma. Diane graduated from Pawhuska High School in 1961.

She met and fell in love with the love of her life, Leland Howard Kepford, Jr. Together they made a life for themselves in California. Their love was blessed with 3 children. Edward Lee Kepford of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kristine Kaye Kepford of Cedar Park, Texas, and Stephen Howard Kepford of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In 1975, Diane's husband Leland preceded her in death. She never remarried. Diane returned to Pawhuska, Oklahoma with her children. Diane was a bookkeeper in Pawhuska, and later in Bartlesville until her retirement.

Diane was a mother, a sister, a wife and a daughter, but nothing was more important or precious to her than being a grandma. Diane is blessed with 7 beautiful and gifted grandchildren, Matthew Jackson Kepford, Jordan Leigh Kepford, Leland Daniel Buckingham, Jackson Ross Buckingham, Carter Dylan Kepford, Kathryn Dyan Kepford, and Sean Michael Kepford. She devoted herself in her later years to her grandchildren.

A memorial in celebration of Diane Kepford's life will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at 10:00 am at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK 74145. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
