Obituary

Dianna was born April 20, 1948, to Harold and Evelyn Reed and passed away March 31, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rachel Reed and Evelyn and Jay Swartz, brothers Jerry and Ronnie, and her husband James White. She is survived by her sister Gayle, her brother-in-law Jim and her three nieces, Christina, Rebekkah, and Hannah.

Dianna was intelligent and savvy. As well as being a receptionist and senior secretary she was one of the first two women who learned micro-computer chip design in the United States. She was a creative and fun-loving person. She gave her sister Gayle and her niece Hannah their first items of makeup, taught another niece, Christina, how to make mud pies, and to drive a car and enjoyed fishing with her husband James. Dianna liked traveling across the country with her Uncle Bill and Aunt Mila, scuba diving off the gulf coast and going to the fair each year. She even went to the Grand Canyon and hiked to the bottom by herself just because she wanted to see it. She persevered and never wavered from or gave up on her goals. She was generous and never worried about spending money. Rebekkah can tell about her artistic talent because she spent many Fridays with Dianna either reading books or creating crafts. She loved a variety of crafts during her lifetime like painting, macramé, quilting, crocheting, knitting, canning and baking. She baked lots of cookies. She liked to follow recipes and cook in the kitchen. One of her favorite foods was fried chicken. Her smile was beautiful. She sang many hymns and quoted Psalms 23 and other scriptures by heart and confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and now she is spending her time with all our loved ones in heaven.

Her family is going to have a time of remembrance at her graveside on the day of her entombment. I invite you, in her honor, to bake cookies or do something special with your loved ones to celebrate her life and home-going.
