Dianne Walker-Propes, 79, of Tulsa, OK., passed away Dec. 16, 2018 following a brief illness. Dianne graduated from Tulsa Central High School class of 1957, then earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa.
Dianne was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Alan Walker. Together, they had two daughters: Deborah Albritton of Spokane, WA, and Alison Wallis of Tulsa, OK in 2002, Dianne married her high school friend, Ervin Propes, who passed away in 2012. She adored her six grandchildren, Michael, Mahaleja, Jacob, Natalie, Andrew and Sydney. She is also survived by her brother, Dr. Robert Geister; sister-in-law, Veronica Geister; brother-in-law, Dr. Kenneth Koelln, and several nieces and nephews.
Dianne was an active member of Asbury United Methodist Church, where she co-chaired the Grief Recovery Class for several years. Furthermore, she was dedicated to her Health Zone workouts where she developed many close friendships. Despite her chronic health problems, Dianne was always upbeat, humorous and full of joy. She loved Jesus Christ and her family dearly. She will be missed by all who knew her, but we rest in the fact her life is just beginning. Our dear Dianne: May you find rest in the arms of angels.
