Dianne Kay Glendening, age 59, passed away Wednesday, June 5th, 2019 at Saint Francis Hospital. She was born December 12th, 1959 to David and Carolyn Harrison in Pryor, Oklahoma. Dianne graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1982 with a Bachelors Degree in accounting. She passed her CPA and worked professionally as an oil and gas accountant.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Jeff Glendening; daughter, Lauren Glendening; Dianne's dear brother, Brett Harrison, and his wife Danna Harrison of Adair, Oklahoma, their children Casey Darnell and husband Gabe, of Vinita, Oklahoma; Shanna Captain and her husband Caleb of Tulsa, Oklahoma; father David Harrison and his wife, Becky Harrison of Vinita, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Lori Butters of Mansfield, Texas; Diana Robbins and her husband Bruce, of Adair, Oklahoma; Dianne's precious uncle, Ronnie Morris, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and his sons Jeff Morris and wife Nicole of Dallas, Texas; Doug Morris and his wife Jessica and their children, Noah and Sydney Morris, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; aunt Jo Anne Leslie Stewart, of Nacogdoches, Texas; cousins, Julia Stewart-Farrell and her husband Bryan Farrell of Nacogdoches, Texas; Robert Leslie Stewart of Nacogdoches, Texas; and, Lisa Stewart of Dallas, Texas. Dianne was predeceased by her brilliant, courageous mother, Carolyn Harrison, of Langley, Oklahoma; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and, great grandmother, Cleo Leslie of Langley, Oklahoma.
Dianne was gifted with stunning beauty, incredible intelligence, fearless loyalty, an unwavering capacity for mercy, a tireless work ethic, and an unalterable ethical and moral code. She loved the Word, and was a disciple for Christ Jesus, always. Dianne loved teaching children about the Bible. She regularly attended Bible Study Fellowship and was a dedicated student of the Word. Dianne took enormous pride in her health, nutrition and exercise. She touched everyone with her sincere concern for their health and families. Dianne's favorite hobbies were working in the yard, taking care of her plants and flowers, exercising, and doting on her quirky pup, Elsa.
Dianne, although petite and delicate, was a warrior, possessed with enormous physical and emotional strength. Everyone who knew her, adored her.
Dianne's family wishes to acknowledge her dear friends, Marilynda Lynch, Maria Isaza, Ellen Thomason, Dr. Beverly Rubino, Anita Cartwright, Lisa Holloway, and Valerie Edgeller.
To Dianne's unbelievable team at the Saint Francis neurotrauma ICU, thank you so very much. You are world class professionals whose many tender mercies to Dianne, her family and friends were comforting beyond words.
