Dolores Mae Stees Quinn, Retired registered nurse departed this life December 05, 2025, at the age of 89. She was born March 06, 1936, to Reno Stees and Agnes Knauss in Swengel, Pennsylvania. She and her parents and siblings moved to Lewistown, PA where she attended elementary school and high school. After graduating from high school, she attended nursing school at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and graduated in 1957.
She married her high school sweetheart Kenneth E. Quinn in 1960 and was married for 53 years. She worked as a nurse in Philadelphia, PA, Long Beach, CA., New York City and Denver, CO. before coming to Tulsa, Ok., where she worked at St. John Medical Center for 40 years. Throughout her life she was interested in singing and dancing, and did both into her 80's. She also was an active member of Blue Star Mothers Tulsa Chapter One and Christ United Methodist Church and Life Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first born son Kenneth Brian Quinn and her husband Kenneth E. Quinn. She is survived by a son, John P. Quinn and daughter, Kelley A. Quinn; brothers, Richard and Galen Stees; sister Alice Knepp and sister Pamela Dean, husband Charles, along with nieces and nephews.
