Dolores Thomas, 91, of Tulsa, passed away October 9, 2015 in Norman,
Oklahoma. Dolores was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania on March 23,
1924 to George and Mable (Ablondi) Tinger.
Dolores attended schools in Tulsa and graduated from Will Rogers High
School in 1941. Dolores married Roger Lee Thomas on November 8,
1945. Together they raised sons, Roger and Tommy, and daughter,
Deema. Dolores was a florist in her family-owned business, Christina's
Flowers. She cherished her family and was a loving wife, grandmother,
and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church in Tulsa.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mable Tinger;
husband Lee; and son Tommy; stepmother, Christina Tinger; sisters,
Teresa Mercer and Rita Benton.
Dolores is survived by son, Roger (Penny) Thomas of Adair, OK; daughter,
Deema (John) Edwards, of Norman, OK; and daughter-in-law, Kimberly
Thomas of Sand Springs, OK. Niece, Paulette (Don) Ramsey; niece, Sally
Thomas, and nephew, Tim Thomas, all of Tulsa, OK. Grandchildren Jodee
(Greg) Pate, Vance and (June) Thomas, Jessica (Scott) Siegrist, Stephen
(Diana) Edwards, Travis (Tessie) Edwards, Bryan (Leah) Thomas, Chris Thomas,
and Andrea Gentis. Great-grandchildren Aiden and Elizabeth Pate; Atticus,
Bryson, and Corbin Thomas; Chandler Siegrist; Nicholas, Jesse, and Gus Edwards;
Tanner, Tenley, and Tyler Edwards; Tanner, Cole, Lillie Grace, and Mylie Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Graveside service will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at
Memorial Park Cemetery, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK.
