Don was born Don Ellis Bernamonti in Wichita, Kansas on November 16, 1955.
He died on June 28, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 68 years old.
As a child, Don lived in Wichita, The Azores Islands, Oklahoma City and Muskogee. Later he lived in Tulsa, Mexico, and finally in Broken Arrow.
Don graduated from Muskogee High School in 1973. He then married Donna Satterfield-Trott in 1981. He attended Tulsa University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1985.
Don had 3 stepsons; he and Donna raised two of their grandchildren. Don and Donna enjoyed spending time together, going to the lake cabin, reading, watching movies and being with family.
Don was preceded in death by his wife Donna, his father Dominic Bernamonti Jr., and his stepfather James Patterson.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Anne Rodden, from Broken Arrow; his sister Lynn Caskey and her husband Chuck from Broken Arrow; his brother John Bernamonti and his wife Debbie from Meridian, Idaho; three stepsons, Doug Trott, Dennis Trott, and Mark Trott. all from Coweta, OK. He had 8 grandchildren, Skyler McNamee, Sarah Mae Russell, Hannah Trott, Emily Trott, Conner Trott, Faith Trott, Christina Doss and Zachary Trott.
Don had 4 great-grandchildren and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be 2PM, Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
