Donnie, as he was known to his family and friends growing up, was the oldest of five brothers. He is survived by brothers John Morgan, Byron Morgan, and Ralph Morgan; and joining his brother in Heaven, Robert Morgan.
He grew up on the Morgan family farm, where he helped raise cattle, hogs, and chickens at the same time of driving tractors while planting and harvesting in the fields. He was in 4-H as he grew up. Donald was the Valedictorian of his Eighth-Grade class at Cotton Valley School. He graduated from Caney Valley High School in Kansas. Donald worked mainly with Plastics companies during his career, working on the production lines and moving up to lead positions and even head of Quality Control Research and Development for two different plastics companies.
Donald enjoyed going to the movies and eating out at his favorite restaurants when he could. Places like Steak and Ale, Hideaway Pizza, El Chico, Outback Steak House, Olive Garden, or even a nice stop in a Coney Island, Domino's Pizza, or Whataburger restaurant made him happy. Donald enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Some of his vacations would be to travel and visit his brothers and cousins in different states. He would take time to visit sick friends in the hospital when he could as well. Donald enjoyed most sporting events, especially if OSU was playing somewhere. He kept up with all the OSU stats that he could. He could tell you all the good recruits for the various Oklahoma State teams!
