Don Haynes was born on August 4,1938 in Paris, AR and passed way on May 14, 2016 in Tulsa. Don graduated from High School in Fort Smith Arkansas, and after serving four years with the U.S. Navy, he attended Arkansas Tech and Draughon's Business College.

He worked for Shell Oil Company for 32 years, then First Data Corporation until his retirement. He married Helen Rogers in 1968, and they were each other's best friend for 47 years Anyone who came to know Don, found a true friend. He was a great husband and father; and a friend to many.

Don is survived his wife, Helen of the home, a son, Preston Haynes of Vail, Colorado; brother, Ron Haynes and wife Marilyn of Fort Smith, AR, and nephew, Mark Haynes of Fort Smith.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
