Services for Donald E Hicks, age 80, will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home Chapel in Tulsa. Mr. Hicks died Saturday, April 7, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Hicks and May Edgmon and his brother Gerald Hicks. Survivors include his son David Hicks, grandson Taylor Hicks, daughter-in-law Mie Hicks, sisters Katherine Carr & Patsy Christian and a brother Paul Hicks.

Mr. Hicks graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1956 and Oklahoma State University in 1960 with a B.A. Degree in Zoology. He worked as a Fisheries Biologist for the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife in Byron, Fairfax and Ponca City over a 40-year period.
