Donald Gene Holt, 49, passed away Friday, January 28, 1977, at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, Tulsa, OK. He was born on August 23, 1927, in Siloam Springs, AR, to John W. Holt and Freda J. (Mason) Holt. Donald was married to Patty Ann (Moody) Holt, and he resided in Tulsa, OK. Mr. Holt was proud to have served in the United States Navy as a Fireman 1st Class. He was an employee of Canteen Co. of Oklahoma for 29 years. Donald was killed in an explosion in a closed restaurant building at 10th Street and Boston Avenue. Donald is survived by his wife; 3 daughters, Linda Sue Baile and spouse, Greg of Glencoe, OK, Teresa Ann Orrick and spouse, Perry of Broken Arrow, OK, and Phyllis Jean Holt, of the home; his parents of Siloam Springs, AR; 2 sisters, Mrs. Betty Stewart of Springdale, AR, and Mrs. Joyce Herzog of Cape Girardeau, MO; 2 bothers, Delmar Holt of Tucson, AR, and Herschel Holt of Festus, MO; 4 grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends.
