Donald Dean Hutchings

Donald Dean Hutchings passed away peacefully on the morning of May 6th, 2025. He was born in Tulsa , OK on July 11th, 1938. He attended Daniel Webster High School where he was an accomplished athlete. He played baseball, basketball, and holds consecutive free throw records that still stand. Don received an associate degree from Oklahoma State University. Don owned and operated Allied Metal Fabricators installing wrought iron fences, and gates in the Tulsa area for over 30 years.
Don enjoyed fishing , golf, hunting, and watching the OKC Thunder.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Betty Hutchings, his father and mother, Leslie and Theda Hutchings, his brother Ronald Hutchings. He is survived by his sister in law Joan Hutchings of Ramon, sister Donna Reed of Tulsa, brother Mike Hutchings of Tulsa. His son and daughter in law Robert and Elvia Hutchings of Houston Tx. Grandchildren Crystal (Husband - Josh) Mork of Virginia and Jesse Ramirez of Houston.
Visitation will be Thursday , May 8th, at 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral service at 10:00 AM both at Moore Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, OK.
