Donald Leroy Prier passed from this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 13, 2026. Donald was born in Stella, Missouri on August 6, 1946, to Virgil and Anna Louise Prier.

After high school, Donald joined the United States Army where he served from 1966 to 1969, and then served in the United States Navy from 1975 to 1979. During this time, he was stationed in Diego Garcia and Guam.

Donald married the love of his life, Von Prier, in 1983 and they had a long and happy marriage until his passing. He had three wonderful children: Donald Prier, Mindy Comas, and Dayna McArthur.

Donald worked as a machinist for 42 years and retired in 2008. He loved his machine work, leather working, gardening, his grandchildren, dogs, coffee, cafes, and donating to children's organizations. He was a devout Baptist and was strong in his Christian faith.

Donald is preceded in death by: his parents, Virgil and Anna Prier; siblings, Johnny Prier, Ronnie Prier Bobby Prier, Jeannie Prier, Nancy Prier, and Susie Prier.

Donald is survived by: his loving wife, Von Prier; sisters, Cindy and Patty Prier; children, Donald Prier, Mindy Comas, and Dayna McArthur; grandchildren, Dusty Prier, Hailee Prier, Johnathan Shepherd, Madeline Willms, Keridad Comas, Zachary McArthur, Cheyenne McArthur, George Willms, Arianna Willms, Lazarus Willms, Cade Prier, Rose Prier, Jeremy McArthur.


Memorial Services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Moore Southlawn Funeral Home, 9350 E 51st St., Tulsa, OK
