Donna (Swanson) Dalvine, 87 passed away at Brookdale Tulsa South Senior Living Center, Tulsa Oklahoma. She was born August 21, 1930 in Lafayette, Indiana to Frank and Leona (Byers) Swanson. Donna met the love of her life, Harry Orth Dalvine, while they were in Bible School. Donna married Harry June 24, 1949. Raising three sons, Harry A., Larry A., and Jeffrey L. Dalvine. They lived a wonderful life living in several states and Mexico and making many friends and memories. Donna was well known for her beautiful and welcoming smile, it is the first memory that her friends commented on.

Donna was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Donna enjoyed cooking great meals for the family and knitting, she always had a bag of yarn and knitting needles beside her chair or while she was traveling in the car. She worked as a secretary for Walls IGA in Wichita, KS and McDonald Training Center in Tampa, FL where she found her joy of working with empowering people with disabilities. Donna was involved with Eastern Star, Boy Scouts, Florida Master Gardeners, she also organized a new Woman's group, The Crafty Ladies, at Harvester United Methodist Church in Land O Lakes, FL.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Leona Swanson. She is survived by her loving husband, Harry O. Dalvine, sons Harry A., Larry A. and wife Joan, Jeffrey L and wife Rhonda, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.

Memorial service will be July 9, 2018 10:00am at the Rosewood Chapel Moore Funeral Home 2570 S. Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK. Interment will be 1:00 pm at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, Ok.
