Donna June Garner, age 80, of Tulsa Oklahoma passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Friday, January 15, 2021. She was born in Tulsa, OK on January 6th, 1941 to parents Don (Buddy) and Virginia Fox. She attended Central High School where she graduated with honors... and a little boy. While in high school she met her future husband, Ron Garner. The two were married for 42 years and had three children. Donna chose the path of a homemaker and was a great stabilizing force for her family.

Donna is survived by her children; Tiana (Michael) Meadows and Darin (Melisa) Garner. Her grandchildren; Jessica (Jesse) Prince, Todd Garner, Rhiannon Chapman, Tyler Garner, Will Garner, Wyatt Branham and great-granddaughter Aubrey Prince whom she loved and cared for until her passing. A brother; Joe (Junetta) Fox and sister, Judy Fox. She was proceeded in death by her parents, a sister Linda McCaslin and her eldest son Tim Garner.

Donna was a Christian who loved to read, enjoyed visiting with her family and shopping with her sister Linda. Linda and Donna were inseparable and are probably in Heaven right now looking for garage sales and thrift stores. Donna also loved road trips. She enjoyed several with Tiana and Jessica going to Eureka Springs, visiting Judy in Louisiana and all over the state of Oklahoma. More than anything Donna loved her family. She enjoyed hearing from her sister Judy and her brother Joe to catch up on all the family's business. She also loved getting her entire family together at her house for visits. This is where she would often just sit, discuss life, give her advice and laugh.

She was loved and respected. She lived her life in the moment and always saw the best in people and situations. She was the glue that held the family together and both she and her wisdom will be missed.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 22nd at 10:00 am at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. The service will also be livestreamed here .
