On Wednesday, June 29, 2022, Donna Jane Shea, loving mother and grandmother departed this life peacefully, surrounded by family at the age of 93.

Donna was born December 9, 1928, in Tulsa, OK, to Forest L. Philpott and Velma M Philpott (Edge). Donna was the second born of four. She grew up in the Red Fork area attending Webster High School. Donna completed the Nursing Program at St. John Medical Center and became a Registered Nurse. She worked all over Tulsa to include St. John Medical Center, St. Francis Hospital and the Tulsa County Jail.

On August 24, 1950, Donna Jane Philpott and Richard Joseph Shea were united in marriage in Tulsa, OK. Donna and Richard (Dick) Shea made Tulsa their home and started a family. Donna enjoyed quilting and sewing. She made numerous quilts, clothing and even a wedding dress. She loved to crotchet and taught her granddaughters all she could. Donna enjoyed gardening flowers, plants and vegetables. She was a great cook and baker. Donna enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with her family and friends. She loved to go fishing; especially, if the crappie were biting. The things she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family and holding new grandbabies.

Donna is survived by her sister Nancy Wooldridge (Ralph), her sons Dennis Shea (Janice) and David Shea (Cynthia), daughters Debra McConnell (Trey) and Diane Brown (Rocky). Grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Donna Shea is preceded in death by her parents Forest and Velma Philpott, sisters Mary Lee Palmer (Robert), Peggy Briggs (Lee), her loving husband Richard (Dick) Shea of 72 years and 2 dogs, Lacy and Penny.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Fitzgerald Southwood, 3612 E. 91st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Fitzgerald Southwood Chapel, Tulsa.
