Donvil Arden Jackson, 71, of Tulsa, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He was born February 12, 1950 in Susanville, CA to Charlie and Phyllis Jackson. Donvil worked as a computer programmer for American Airlines. He enjoyed fishing, sitting on the porch and watching the weather and the birds. Donvil is survived by his wife of 44 years, Beverley Jackson; his children, Laurie Gooch and husband Brian of Stroud, OK, Michelle Celis and husband Salvador of Granbury, TX, Russell Levi Jackson of Catoosa, OK, Autumn Bookout and husband Kyle of Broken Arrow, OK, April Mae Harris and husband Jacob of Sand Springs, OK, Audrey Jackson of Tulsa, OK, Marcus Jackson and wife, Madison of Bristow, OK, Daniel Jackson and wife, Patricia of Tulsa, OK; eighteen and a half grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his sisters, Freda Doherty of Idaho Falls, ID, Marlene Messer of CA, Verdis Golden of Claremore, OK, Regina Busten and husband Chris of Tulsa, OK; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Vincent Curtis Jackson; brothers, Randy and Curtis Jackson.
