Jones, Doris Gwendolyn Bean, 92 of Tulsa passed away Sunday, July 23rd, 2017. She was born December 16th, 1924 in Tahlequah, OK to Robert Bruce and Opal Gertrude Bean. She was an NSU graduate, was a school teacher, Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed garage sales and sewing. Doris is survived by her husband, of more than 60 years, Darryl Jones; her sisters, Carolyn Glennis Morris of Morris, OK and Ruth Alyce Fay of Broken Arrow, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters Louise Cox and Marilyn Glenda Allen.
