Doris Gilliam, 92, of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was born December 26, 1923 in Wirt, OK to Otho and Lucy Coleman. She was a retired registered nurse at Hillcrest Medical Center. She was a member of Sequoyah Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed crafts, crochet, gardening, bluegrass events, camping and fishing. Doris is survived by her son, David Gilliam and his wife Sharon of Belle Plaine, KS; daughter, Margaret "Marge" Stevens of Claremore, OK; grandchildren, Michael Gilliam, Heather Gilliam, Melissa Dreher and her husband Chris, Jon Pike, Matt Pike and his wife Alison, Zeb Pike and Tabitha Pike, all of Wichita, KS; 11 great grandchildren; her siblings, Elizabeth Stokes, Al Coleman and his wife Mary Lou, Elsie Dockter and her husband James, Mike Coleman and his wife Inga. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Gilliam and 5 siblings.
