Obituary
Doris Marie Pitchford, 90, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. Doris was born to Thomas and Cathrine Jones Burgess on March 9, 1926 in Welling, Oklahoma.
Doris raised her family on a farm and was a very hard worker. She was always right there to lend a hand with whatever needed to be done. Doris dearly loved her family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Doris is survived by her daughter, Shirley and husband Harold Dyche; 4 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great-great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hoyal Pitchford; son, Kenneth Pitchford; and 6 brothers.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Springdale Baptist Church and the interment will follow at Porter Cemetery, Porter, Oklahoma.
Under the direction of Moore's Memory Chapel, Tulsa, OK 918-583-6148.
