HOLLOWAY, Dorothea Marcelle, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. She was born April 17, 1930 to Joe and Augusta Holloway. Affectionately called "Dodo" by family and close friends. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Jack Holloway, Tommy Holloway; sisters, Diana Gayle Holloway, Emma Jean Shrader; nephews, Ronald Dale Balsano, Scott Turner, and Claude Dale Turner; Niece, Charlotte Thomas; brothers-in-law, Charles Balsano, August Shrader, and Bob Turner. Survived by sisters, Pauline Balsano, Beverly Turner, and Mary Shepherd; Sister-in-law, Betty Holloway; numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She worked as a nursing assistant at Hillcrest Hospital during the Polio epidemic in the 1940's. She was an Operator and Supervisor for Southwestern Bell/AT&T. Lifetime member of Pioneer Association. She endured the disability of Parkinson's silently for the past eight years with outstanding dignity and grace.
