Dorothy Mae Halstead, 59, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 1976, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK, of heart failure. She was born on Saturday, December 23, 1916, in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX, to Carl Ennis Thompson and Mary (Brownlee) Thompson, who passed away while Dorothy was young, and her Uncle Jim "J. W." Brownlee and his wife, Dora, raised her. Dorothy was retired from St. Francis Hospital and also worked at Halstead Electric Company. She is survived by her husband, Galen Blake "G. B." Halstead of the home; 2 sons, G. B. Halstead, Jr., of Tulsa, OK, and Gary W. Halstead of Midland, TX; 3 daughters, Mrs. J. W. Ross of Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Richard Martin of Owasso, OK, and Mrs. Jerry Bayouth of Oklahoma City, OK; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, James Foster Halstead.
