Dorothy Ann Adams, 90, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025.
She was born March 27, 1935 in El Dorado, Kansas to Otis and Emma Adams. She was a homemaker most of her life. She volunteered for many years at SPCA in Tulsa, enjoyed birdwatching and feeding the birds, her pets, loved planting flowers every year and stray animal that would show up at her home. Her other love was her PT cruiser that she would jam in and listen to her favorite songs that she enjoyed and also loved to dance. She also liked to go fishing and hunt for arrowheads with her husband, Jack, and bottle hunting and finding rocks. Dorothy is survived by her daughters Karen Logsdon of Tulsa, Kristie Messick of Owasso; four grandchildren Ryan Logsdon, Randi Logsdon Daniel Messick Matthew Messick. Nine great-grandchildren and her sister Doris Stanton of Tulsa. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Laporte; her parents; and her brother Richard (Buzzard) Adams.
