Dorothy Jean Noblitt McCandless, 83, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sept. 23, 2018. She was a retired Registered Nurse.

Jean was born in Great Bend, Kansas to Dwight W. Noblitt and Wilma P. Adams.
Graduate of Hutchinson High School Class of 1954. Graduate of Grace Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1957.

She met the love of her life, Robert L. McCandless, on a blind date, and they were married on September 14, 1957 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

She was a long-time resident of Hutchinson, Kansas before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1990.
She loved her children and grandchildren and spending time with her family creating memories. She would always say "l love you more". Family pets were part of the family and held a special place in her heart. Picnics at the lake, her flower garden, watching butterflies and birds brought her much joy.

She spent her life dedicated to Nursing, bringing quality care, comfort and compassion to so many lives that she touched during her career. She was everyone's Angel. Now she is our Guardian Angel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. McCandIess; Father, Dwight Noblitt; and Mother, Wilma Russell.

She leaves behind her Daughter, Keri L. McCandless and Son, Darren M. McCandless; Grandchildren Amber Greer, Ashley Greer, Shannon Angel, and Brandi Angel; Sisters Carol Krogstad of Dresser, WI and Cynthia Ortega; and Stepmother, Letha Noblitt both of Hutchinson, KS.

A funeral service will be held remembering and honoring the life of Dorothy Jean McCandless at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.
