Dorothy Jean Moore (87) passed from this life Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Dorothy was born December 24, 1926 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to James & Ruth Baxter. She was raised in Ardmore where she graduated from Ardmore High School. Dorothy was a switchboard operator and supervisor for 40 years for Southwestern Bell, Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital and City of Faith. After retirement she devoted herself to her family, church and her beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by William R. "Bill" Moore, her husband of 47 years, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Stephenee, son Stephen, and granddaughter Christie. She will be greatly missed, but she is in our hearts forever. Service is planned at Brookside Baptist Church on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.
