Dorothy passed away September 2, 2014. She was born October 23, 1925 to
Lucy Uhrig Maresh and Anton Frank Maresh in the house her father built at 1144 S. Gary Ave.
As a lifelong Tulsan, she was class of '43 Will Rogers High School, attended William Woods
College, graduated from Oklahoma A&~ 1947 and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority's
Diamond Circle. Married Fred C. Robertson, returned POW, August 10, 1946. Long time faithful
member of University Methodist Church and the HoMakers Sunday School class and Joy Circle.
After retiring from teaching 1st grade for 17 years she enjoyed organizing trips and tours for a
close knit group of friends traveling usually by bus to all parts of U.S. and abroad.
In 1986 Dorothy and Fred moved to the new patio homes at the Oklahoma Methodist Manor as
one of the original home owners. She became very active in the auxiliary and co-chaired the
yearly crafts bazaar every year until 2005 when it was discontinued. She had recently moved to
Holliman Center, then to the Health Center-Priddy Harbor.
Dorothy is survived by: her daughter Andrea Gail Netterville and her husband Ned; her son
Roger Anton Robertson; grandchildren Eric Thomas Burger, Lauren Nicole Robertson and Corie
Renee Robertson; brother Herbert D. Maresh and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by: parents Anton and Lucy Maresh; her husband Fred; daughter Rhonda
Joyce; and herbrother Robert E. Maresh.
Burial at Memorial Park followed by a memorial service Monday September 8, 2014, 11:00am
at University United Methodist Church 500 South College Ave. Donations can be made to the
Music/Choir Endowment Fund at University Methodist Church.
