ROHRBAUGH, Dorothy L. "Diamond Dot" (Downey), 94, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2015 in Kenosha, WI. She was born March 2, 1921, the daughter of Miller and Dora (Kagen) Downey, in Tulsa, OK.
Dorothy had a long and successful career as a jewelry salesperson. She was known as "Diamond Dot" to all of her many customers, friends, and co-workers. She retired from Zales Jewelers and also later worked at Whitehall's and Moody's in Tulsa until age 83.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne; sisters, Mildred Daniels, Jackie Martin, Marcine Montgomery, and Helen O'Neal; brothers, Connie, Darwin and Melvin; son-in-law, Robert D. Ormseth. She is survived by one sister, Geraldine Pinch of Richardson, TX; one brother, Dan of Tulsa; daughters, Martha Ormseth of Kenosha, WI and Janis Marple of Edmond; granddaughter, Dr. Bethany Ormseth of Kenosha, WI; grandsons, Robert W. Ormseth of Lake Geneva, WI, Jeremy Marple (Rita) of Edmond, Jordan (KC) of Yukon; great-granddaughters, Ella, Crosslee and Londyn Marple; great-grandson, Nathan Marple. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Monday, April 27, 2015 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 1436 N. 67th E.
