Dorthy Faye (Miller) Boyd began life on July 8, 1934, in Clinton, Oklahoma and began her new, Heavenly life on February 6, 2024.

Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents and by her three siblings and her great-grandson Conner James Stout. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James L. Boyd. She is survived by her five children; James A. Boyd, Susan Brown, Toni Bailey, Mark Boyd, and Cristina Pickle. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was their beloved "Amaw."

Dorthy's life was marked by her love for God and for her family. She showed her love by giving, which was her greatest joy. Through the years, she served faithfully in her church.

Her family will miss her, but will never forget her loving imprint on their lives.

A memorial service will be held Saturday February 24th at 10 AM at the First Baptist Church of Verdigris. In lieu of flowers the family request any gifts to be made to the Baptist Village of Owasso in her memory to be used at The Thompson Family Neighborhood Memory Support.
