BURROW, Dot Naomi Hutchinson, 97, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 in Tulsa, Ok. Born February 8,1920, in Hewins, KS to Fred and Anna E. Gordon Malone Hutchinson. She retired as a long-time assistant for the orthodontic practice of Drs. Sims, Sims, and Dixon at their Utica Square office in Tulsa. She was a member of Woodland Acres Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, James I. Burrow. Also preceded in death by sons-in-law: Norman E. Lowe, and Royce George Waters, and by step-siblings (4 brothers and 7 sisters). She was a boarding student while completing her studies at Cedar Vale, KS. High School. Dot and Jim Burrow were married on June 2, 1939, in Tulsa, OK. After which they chose to live and raise their family in Winfield, Kansas where Dot volunteered as a Brownie Scout leader. In 1961, they relocated to Tulsa to be near family. As a team they became loyal fans of TU Golden Hurricane Basketball and always maintained a lovely home and garden.
Survived by two daughters: Sonja Waters and Connie Leos and husband Steve Leos, Jr.
Affectionately known as "Nanny" to grandchildren: Kim and Steve Holzwarth, Daren and Janet Lowe, Lori Leos, Tim and Sandy Leos, Dr. Michael and Becky Lowe, and Sheree and Dr. Gerard McNulty.
Great grandchildren: Angela and Chris Burnett, Taylor Gregston, Adam, Samuel, and Benjamin McNulty, Conner, Colton, and Courtney Lowe, Aiden Black, Joshua, Isaac, and Elijah Lowe, Taylor, Lindsey, and Carson Howard, and Quinn Leos.
Great-great grandchildren: Addison, Nolan, Branson, and Cannon Burnett . Numerous nieces, nephews, and friends .
