DOUGLAS L. HOLT
Douglas L. Holt, 89, passed away on April 1, 2013. Born to David L. and Minnie
Holt November 25, 1923 in Uniontown, Pa., he was the last of 11 brothers and
sisters. During WWII five brothers proudly served their country in different
branches of the military, with Doug serving in the Navy.

Doug earned his Master's-degree in Mathematics from the University of Tulsa
and taught 37 years in Tulsa schools, at Webster High School and Gilcrease Jr High. He served 6 years on active duty with the Navy and 31 years in the Navy Reserve, spending many summers working in Washington, DC.

After retiring to Park Hill, near Lake Tenkiller, for several years, he returned to Tulsa in 2008 to be near his last sibling, Wilma Weston Doss, who preceded him in death in January 2013. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, and his canine companion, Gidget.

Family visitation is Sunday, April 7, from 4-6 at Moores Southlawn Chapel.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 8, at 10 AM, with burial to follow at
Memorial Park Cemetary. Family suggests contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Moore's Southlawn 663-2233
