Crowell, Dovie Ruth, 96, of Tulsa, passed away August 21, 2021. Dovie was born July 17, 1925, in Paris, TX, to John William and Sally (Cooley) Preas.

Dovie was a homemaker and a charter member of Eastwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed participating in various church organizations/activities, volunteering, playing bunko, sewing, quilting, baking, genealogy and attended community college to learn the computer.

Dovie is survived by: daughter in law, Kathy Crowell of The Woodland, TX; granddaughter, Lindsey Baker of Tulsa, OK.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Frederick Crowell; son, Clark Crowell; three brothers: Eldon, Linden, Wildon Preas; two sisters, Ruby Nix and Jewel Preas Evans.
