Doyal Wesley Knowles was born on August 12, 1930, to Edmond and Evie Knowles in Stigler, OK. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 28, 2015. He had 2 sons: Ed and Gregg. He loved his family and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He loved fishing, gardening and teaching Sunday School. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Shirley of the home, son Ed and wife Vickie of Tulsa, grandchildren Rodney Knowles of Norman, Todd and Mandy Knowles of Broken Arrow, Arin and Cody Haddox of Tulsa, 3 great grandchildren: Gracelynn and Gibson Knowles of Broken Arrow and Juliette Haddox of Tulsa. 3 sisters: Devern Eubanks of Tulsa, Phyllis and husband Jay Riddle of Sun City, AZ and Jean and husband Buddy Brown of Irving, TX, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Sally Kerr-Knowles, his son Gregg, brother Willie and his parents. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Memorial Baptist Church.
Visitation 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
