Doyle Ervin Schopp, 68, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma following a brief illness.

Doyle was born July 22, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He lived and worked in Tulsa throughout his life. He spent close to 30 years working for the City of Tulsa before retiring in 2010.

Following his retirement, Doyle enjoyed his days reading Christian fiction and watching western films. His weekends were spent with his son restoring a 1962 Studebaker. He had a growing interest in genealogy and took frequent scenic drives to visit with relatives.

Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, William Earl and Mary Ellen Schopp; his brother, Larry Dean Schopp; and a daughter, Kathryn (Katy) Marie Hardy.

He leaves his wife of 29 years, Stefanie Schopp; his daughter, Christina Tasset and her husband, Patrick Tasset; his daughter, Patricia Wassall and her husband, Daniel Wassall; his son, Jonathan Schopp; two granddaughters, Courtney Gall and Sophia Tasset; and a large extended family along with many close friends.

Viewing for Doyle will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma on Monday, July 24, 2017.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at Riverview Baptist Church, 13201 S. Memorial Drive, Bixby, Oklahoma.
