Dwight was born with his twin sister, Donna Sue Rosene to Don and Margaret Ratliff of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Dwight's childhood was a happy one, centered around playing with all his sisters, friends and attending church at Immanuel Baptist Church. He loved the sports of Baseball, Basketball and Football and was an avid supporter of the Oklahoma Sooners football team.

He loved music and enjoyed collecting and listening to music as a hobby and rebuilding and upgrading computer systems.

Dwight remained single throughout his life and enjoyed spending time with his extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Margaret Ratliff and brother-in-law, Ben Keeling.
