Earl Russell Naugle was born in Romance, Missouri to Ben and Dollie Naugle. He was the second to the oldest of six boys and three girls. Earl loved being surrounded by family and often would go on vacations at Ft. Gibson where he loved to fish. Earl and Patsy were married in July of 1953. Together, they had three girls, Belinda, Teresa and Pam.
Earl worked for what was eventually called Darr Equipment for 38 years before retiring. He and Patsy lived in Inola for many years and he always took care of everyone and everything. Earl was always busy, building something or taking care of animals or baling hay, but his favorite pastime was restoring cars out in his building, especially Chevys. He restored several beautiful cars and was especially proud of his 1957 Chevy Bel-Air Convertible. After retirement, Earl and Pat had many adventures going to Las Vegas or Mexico or Texas. They moved back to Tulsa in 2003 to be closer to their children, grand children and great grand children. Earl had a smile on his face every single day. He was the most giving and caring man and always told a good story. Earl passed from the Earth on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 but the memories we all hold dear will never fade.
Earl was preceded in death by his Father Ben, Mother Dollie, older brother Raymond Naugle, his younger sister Reba (Andy) Rhodes and sadly, his baby brothers Carl and Donald. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Patsy, his brothers Ronald (Ginger) Naugle and Larry (Jane) Naugle and his sisters Syble (Bill) Ramsey and Wanda (Dale) Brinkley. He is also survived by his daughters Belinda Braman, Teresa (Randy) Smith and Pamela Klein, as well as his grandchildren Autumn (Hayden) Ryan, Summer Beguin, Caleb Klein, Trevor Smith and Avery (Casey) Klein and his great grandchildren, Charlie and Beau Ryan and Emerson Beguin as well as numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces and cousins.
