Obituary
Edith Grace Emmons, 70, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 1977, in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. She was born in Okmulgee County, Indian Territory, Morris, OK, on Friday, August 24, 1906, to Thomas J. Nichols, Sr. and Ellen (Cox) Nichols. Edith is survived by her daughter, Mary K. Emmons of Tulsa, OK; son, Robert Earl Emmons, Bemidji, MN; sister, Helen Edwards of Morgan City, LA; 4 brothers, Thomas J. Nichols, Jr. of Tulsa, OK, Dean Nichols of Morton TX, Paul Nichols of Morris, OK, and Dale Nichols of Guthrie, OK; and a lifetime of friends. Edith will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
