Edith "Edie" H. Buttrick, of Tulsa Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on March 21 at the age of 90. Her husband, G. Robert Buttrick, preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children: Karen (Neil) Cluck, Stephen (Kelly) Buttrick and Jeanne (Jerry) Oechsner, and her six grandchildren: Mandy and Matt Cluck, Bobby and Brian Buttrick and Mike and Adam Oechsner. As well as one sister-in-law, Betty Hendrickson, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Edie was born on September 26, 1927 in Trenton, New Jersey to Robert and Edith Hendrickson and grew up in Lawrenceville, NJ. She was the youngest of three children, with two older brothers Robert and John. She graduated valedictorian from Princeton High School (NJ) in 1945 and attended Middlebury College (VT), where she met the love of her life, Bob Buttrick. They graduated in 1949 and one week later they married on June 21. They had 58 wonderful years together!
Edie was known and loved for her enthusiasm and her big, friendly smile. She was devoted to her husband, a Presbyterian pastor, and children and grandchildren. She had an unwavering faith and loved her God with all her heart. In addition to being devoted to everyone, she was selfless beyond words. She always looked for the best in people and treated everyone with kindness and love. Edie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at John Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 am. A luncheon will follow the service.
