Edith Luri "Edie" Rider (nee Ulrich) was born in South Gate, California to Adam Moses Ulrich and Helen Mae Tingley on May 21st, 1940. She went to be with the Lord and all who were waiting for her on January 29th, 2021 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Edie earned her Associates Degree at Cerritos College in Cerritos, California. She married the love of her life, Francis Michael (Mike) Rider in 1965. After retiring from being a preschool teacher, Edie enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting gifts for her loved ones and charities, and was active in her church like she had been throughout most her life. Touching so many, in so many different ways her light will continue to shine through each and every one.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years Francis Michael (Mike) Rider; siblings Florene Turner and Bobby Ulrich; children Robert Charles (Chucky) Rider, Daniel (Dan) Lee Rider, Patricia (Tricia) Maelyn Phillips, and Darla Denise Rider; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Adam Moses Ulrich and Helen Mae Tingley, and siblings Billy Ulrich and Glen Ulrich.
Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3rd at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4th at Moore's Memory Chapel.
