Edith Lane Zongker was born March 28, 1924 and died December 28, 2022 at the home of her daughter where she had lived for almost 10 years. She was 98-1/2 years old when she passed away.
Edith was born to Maude and Sam Lane in Balko, Oklahoma. She attended business college in Enid, OK where she met her soon to be husband, Ray Zongker. She became a Life Master at Bridge and taught 3rd graders in Sunday School for years at Immanuel Baptist Church. Edith traveled extensively with High School Travel groups where she was shocked to find out she was "elderly". Edith stayed sweet and loving throughout her life. She loved the Lord and was looking forward to spending Eternity with the Lord and with loved ones who had gone on before her.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray; her son, Tom; her son-in-law, Bob; and her 3 siblings: LaVon, Geneva, and Johnny. Edith leaves behind her 3 daughters and their families:

Katie (Allen) & Wayne Simien and their children: Selah, Rael, Simon, Shepherd, & Emmaus; Richard Allen;
Rebecca (Allen) & Austin Thompson and their children: Amelia and Madeline;

Julianne (Allen) & Peter Piotrowski and their daughter: Etta.
Cynthia (Zongker) and Bob Buckingham (deceased) and their 3 children:
Michael and Jennifer Buckingham and their children: Bryson, Braden, Beckett, and Bella;
Annah (Buckingham) and Markey McNutt and their children: Connor, Aidan, and Rory.
