Edna Jo Gray, 90, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in Tulsa. She was born on August 23, 1935, in Wann, Oklahoma, to Raymond and Francis Shull.

Edna graduated from Dewey High School in Dewey, Oklahoma, and went on to build a long and dedicated career with J.C. Penney, where she worked in retail sales for 35 years. She was a woman of strong Baptist faith and was a founding patron of The Manna House on Admiral Street for many years.

Edna found joy in the simple things in life. She loved reading and sewing and especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. She also had a love for travel and particularly enjoyed trips to Nashville, Tennessee, and Barcelona, Spain. Above all, Edna cherished her family and the memories they made together. Her kindness, strength, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Mary and Raymond Wayne Shull; her husband, John D. Gray; her siblings, Gracie Joplin, Johnny Shull, Wayne Shull, and F.G. Shull; and her son-in-law, Walter Jackson.

She is survived by her children, Connie Jo Alldredge and husband, Hank Egleston; Carol Jean Jackson; and Cathie Jan Bryant and husband, Fred. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kim Mason; Chris Jackson and wife, Karen; John Paul Jackson; and Chad Bryant and wife, Tamara; her sister-in-law, Barbara Shull; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend viewing and visitation for Edna on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Moore Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel, with Pastor Daniel Chamberlin officiating.

Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Edna leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a legacy of love that will live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
