Edna June ("June") Jeffery, 87, died early on October 10, 2019, surrounded by her beloved daughters.

June was born in Picher, Oklahoma to Walter and Iva Maggie Mae Forbes. She attended school in Picher with her five brothers. She graduated in 1951 and moved shortly thereafter to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She raised her three daughters in the Tulsa area.

She had a lifelong passion for music and serving others. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They called her many things: "Mom," "Mama," "Sis," "Gee," "Granny Bird," "Sticky G," "Granny Turtle," and "Granny Great."

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Sumter and husband Laddie Sumter, Lisa Cash and Leta Spencer; grandchildren and their respective spouses, Joshua and Alesha Baker, Jerrad and Crystal Baker, Annie and Ian Tidmore, Bill and Alicia Cash, Sheri Eastham, Leslie and Brandon Lee, Riley Sumter, Michelle and Shea Cockrell, John Spencer; great-grandchildren, Jordan Baker, Bradley Tidmore, Ethan Tidmore, Anna Tidmore, TJ Taylor, Mason Cash, Emily Baker, Abigail Baker, Madeline Cash, Avery Baker, Fallon Lee and Cameron Lee; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Dorothy Forbes; sister-in-law, Glenna Forbes; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie Jeffery; parents, Walter and Iva Maggie Mae Forbes; brothers, Tom Forbes, Grover Forbes, and John Forbes.

Visitation will be 3-5 PM, Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
