Edie Lucas, 78, passed into eternal life on April 10th, 2017.

Born Edna Irene Rittenhouse on August 6th, 1938 in Lenapha Oklahoma, she was a longtime member of Woodland Acres Baptist Church, where her service will be held on April 13th, 2017 at 2 p.m.

Edie's passions were cooking, baking cookies, cakes and loaves of bread, which always became a care package to take home with you. Edie enjoyed quilting and writing letters and cards to everyone to share or sending prayers to let you know she was thinking of you.

She was reunited with her Husband, Jim Lucas; her Mother and Father - Marie and Andrew Rittenhouse; her Aunt and Best Friend, Jean Tumlinson.

Her spirit is carried on through her four children - Debbie King, Tom & Lea Toynton, Karie Carpenter, Jennifer Toynton; Her Brother, Harold Rittenhouse & family. Her grandchildren knew her as Grandma Queenie & Nanna Banana - grandchildren Charles Christian, Derik & Dior Toynton, Heather & Anthony Schneider, Collin Smith, Kendall Smith, Patrick & Tammy Ryan, Chris Ryan, TJ Larson, Shawn Dickens, Shane & Tracy Dickens; eight great-grandchildren and other family members, as well many friends.


She will be missed dearly - her bright smile, her loving hugs, her sweet kindness, and all her love she gave to all her family members and friends. Our lives were better because of her and we know she will continue to watch over all of us. Mom, you are loved and will be greatly missed!
