Greer, Edward Raydo, 74, of Tulsa passed away Monday, June 15, 2015.
On December 14, 1940 God Blessed Edward Greer and Myrtle E. Greer with a beautiful baby boy Edward Raydo Greer. Ed was the nickname they gave him. He was the father of four beautiful children, three boys the oldest Anthony L. Greer, second son Albert L. Greer, the third child was his one and only baby girl Ms. Donna M. Greer and the last, his namesake and baby boy Edward R. Greer . He had a big sister named Essie Lee Campbell. Ed grew up in Kansas, graduated from Sumner High, worked and retired from General Motors after 33 years.
Ed loved to fish, hunt and cook while talking your head off about it. In his spare time he would love to talk and spend time with his favorite person in Tulsa, OK, his mother in law Roberta Hardy. When he was sick and she was fighting cancer they talked and visited daily until her death.
On April 22, 2005 after dating for two years he married Ms. Shirley Samuels. With this marriage God had blessed him with three more children, Talisa Murphy, Ronald Cole and Marico Cole. He was also blessed with many friends and family members.
Edward leaves to cherish his memories his wife of ten years Shirley, his children his father, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, his sister and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Myrtle E. Greer and his step daughter Talisa Samuels Murphy.
